Desiree Richards, LCSW
Desiree Richards was born in Iowa and raised with values in community and hard work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, received her Bachelor’s degree in Counseling from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 2012, and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2014.
Desiree is an advocate for the therapeutic relationship because it is the strongest predictor of success. As trust is developed, she desires to guide clients into holistic wellness. She is a certified personal trainer and is able to utilize nutritional and fitness knowledge in the practice setting as needed. She understands how physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual influence one’s overall health. She is supportive of individuals in finding and fulfilling their purpose in life. Desiree has 3 years’ experience as a program therapist in an inpatient mental health facility.
