Sandra is originally from Mississippi where she received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Mississippi. She relocated to Texas in 1991 and obtained her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington
Sandra has extensive experience in child and family issues and has worked in child protection, family violence, homelessness and corrections.
Sandra enjoys joining with others at any age as they begin or continue their life journey toward being their best self and realizing their own power. Sandra is solution focused in her approach and values the strengths of every individual.
Sandra understands the impact of trauma and shame on one’s life and knows that self-compassion can be key to healing. Sandra believes in the enduring power of one’s spirit and believes that we each have within us what is needed to heal.
